This is the place to stay on Santorini!
My family of 4 stayed 6 nights across Sophia (4 pax) and Kyani (6 pax) villas and loved being in such authentically historical but yet comfortable houses in gorgeous Megalochori, close enough to all the sites (thanks to the rental car) but away from the hoards of tourists (you will not believe the masses descending on Oia and Fira, especially with all the cruise ships).
Takis and Konstantinos were great hosts/guides and we did the sunset cruise and guide for Akrotiri; both are must sees in our opinion. All the restaurants in the village were good but Feggera was our favorite plus the little understated place deep into the village away from the market square. Also, Afros at Black Beach 🇬🇷
