The Sophia mansion is a lovely and tranquil oasis in the village of Megalochori on the beautiful island of Santorini a few kilometres from the main town of Fira. We had good access to all the island from here with the included car rental which is essential.
The village itself has several restaurants and Tavernas at varying price ranges and all are a short two minute walk from the villa.
There is so a good bakery a 7 minute walk up the hill with everything you could want , bread , pastries, Baclava, coffees ect.
The Villa itself is immaculate with two bedrooms and one bathroom.
Kitchen has a good oven, microwave and illy coffee machine.
The private courtyard with swimming pool (plunge pool) is private and a great place to unwind.
There is also a seperate courtyard with a table and chairs and BBQ.
Overall very satisfied and would return.
Takis our host arranged everything from transfers to tours and answered every message within minutes .
